Silver Alert issued for missing Hamden teenager

HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -

The Connecticut State Police are asking for the public's help locating an endangered runaway from Hamden.

A Silver Alert was issued for Curnijah Howard, 16, who police said was last seen earlier Monday.

Howard is being described as a black woman who is 5'6" tall and weighs 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored winter jacket.

Police provided no photo of Howard.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hamden Police Department at 203-230-4000.
