Avondale PD: Victim ID'd in December homicide case

AVONDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Avondale police have identified the victim of a December homicide.

Officers announced Thursday the name of the victim is 58-year-old Colombe Smithdeal of Avondale.

Her body was discovered on Dec. 16, 2012 in the area of 108th Avenue and Indian School Road.

No other information about the case was released.

People who have leads or any knowledge of the crime are asked to call the Avondale Police Department at 623-333-7380 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS if they want to remain anonymous.
