State rep. to discuss animal advocate bill

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Some lawmakers are supporting a bill that would allow court advocates to act on behalf of animals involved in criminal or civil cases.

State Rep. Diana Urban is holding a news conference Thursday along with a farmer whose cows were shot in North Stonington.

Two men were charged with animal cruelty in connection with the shooting.
