NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -
The New Haven Police Department is investigating a home invasion on Butler Street early Friday morning.
Police said two men entered the residence through a window at 4:45 a.m. and were confronted by a woman. The men hit her and fled the home on foot, police said.
The woman "suffered a minor cut on her cheek," police said.
Police recovered a hand gun as well as one of the suspect's work boots near the window.
