State police still investigating a hit-and-run accident during blizzard

PROSPECT, CT (WFSB) -

The Connecticut State Police are public's help locating the person who hit an elderly woman from Prospect who was snowblowing during Blizzard Charlotte on Friday.

According to state police, Mary McCormack, 79, was snow blowing her driveway when she was hit on Straitsville Road around 8:30 p.m.

Police found McCormack lying on the ground near the intersection of Straitsville Rd. and Route 68. Police said she died on the scene.

As of Thursday morning, state police have not located the driver of the vehicle.
