
© cbs 5Gabe Rogers tied his career best with seven 3-pointers and finished with 25 points, pacing Northern Arizona to a 79-72 victory over Portland State.
Rogers, playing his 100th career game, was 7 of 11 from 3-point range for the Lumberjacks (9-14, 6-7 Big Sky).
NAU jumped to a big 51-35 lead at halftime. Its scoring output was a team high for a half this season, and it shot 63 percent from the floor during that span.
DeWayne Russell scored 15 points for NAU and teammate Stallon Saldivar posted his first career double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.
Portland State (8-15, 3-10) got 19 points from Aaron Moore and Renado Parker scored 18. Parker also had 13 rebounds and Moore had 11.
