Connecticut could be bracing for a big snowstorm Friday.
According to Chief Meteorologist Bruce DePrest, there is potential for a major storm with heavy snow and gusty winds.
Snow could mix with sleet and rain during the afternoon then change back to all snow Friday night.
DePrest said there is a "potential" heavy snow hitting the state. According to DePrest, the European Model and the GFS are forecasting a possible blizzard and NAM model do not.
No weather advisories have been issued yet.
