PD: 1 seriously hurt in Tempe crash

TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

One person was seriously hurt in a crash at 48th Street and Southern Avenue in Tempe on Tuesday morning.

The collision caused multiple closures in the area. Tempe police said eastbound Southern was diverted southbound on 48th Street. Westbound Southern was closed just east of the intersection. Northbound 48th Street was diverted westbound on Southern.

No other details were immediately available.
