Police say a body found in bushes in Mesa has been positively identified as the man who killed a company CEO and critically wounded a lawyer.
Valley police agencies broadcast an "attempt to locate" bulletin for 70-year-old William Arthur Harmon III on behalf of the Phoenix Police Department on Wednesday afternoon.
The bulletin, broadcast by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Paradise Valley Police Department, among others, said Harmon is wanted in connection to a shooting at a Phoenix office building near 16th Street and Glendale Avenue.
CBS 5 News has confirmed that Harmon had a meeting at a law office near that intersection at 9:30 a.m. About an hour later there, shots were fired, injuring at least three people. Police believe the gunman fled from the scene.
One of the victims, Steve Singer, died at the hospital. Mark Hummels is in critical condition at the hospital and a third victim, a 32-year-old woman, was also wounded.
The white 2013 Kia with the license plate AVS-2052 that Harmon was driving was found near his body Thursday morning.
