BRIDEPORT, CT (WFSB) -
The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating a shooting Tuesday afternoon that left a homeless man in critical condition.
Police said Malcolm Daniels Jr., 30, was shot outside the Charles F. Greene Homes apartment complex on Washington Avenue at about 11:45 a.m.
The man was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery. He remained in critical condition Tuesday night.
No arrests have been made at this time; however, witnesses told police that two masked men fled the area.
