Crash closes Route 73 in Waterbury

WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -

A crash closed a section of Route 73 in Waterbury on Tuesday morning.

Connecticut Department of Transpiration Officials said Route 73 was closed in the area of Deerfield Avenue after a vehicle slammed into a utility pole, police said.

The crash is in the area of Municipal Stadium.

It's unknown if anyone was injured in the crash.
