Torrington police arrest man after making threats against his girlfriend

TORRINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

A Torrington man was arrested by police Friday after being accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend.

Police said Efrain A. Ayala-Robles, 39, made threats against his girlfriend on Friday evening. However, he did not hit his girlfriend during the incident, police said.

Ayala-Robles was charged with second-degree threatening and was arraigned Monday at Bantam Superior Court.

The judge barred Ayala-Robles from having any contact with his girlfriend.
