Window of school bus shot out in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

The New Haven Police Department is looking for who shot out a window on a school bus Monday afternoon.

According to police, a window on a First Student bus was shot out while the vehicle was on Edgewood Avenue around 12:30 p.m. 

Police sources said the suspect used a BB gun from about 20 feet away from the bus.

None of the 30 children on the bus were seriously injured during the incident.

After the incident, the driver drove to a safe location blocks away and called police.

The window cracked and did not shatter or blow out, police said.
