North Royalton Police are urging vigilance after reports of child enticements in the surrounding communities on Friday.
In Middleburg Heights, a 15-year-old boy told police he was approached while walking at 1 p.m. on Webster Road. The suspect is described as a 45-year-old white man with a long goatee, black hair and wearing a "weird" hat. The man was driving a sky blue minivan, possibly a Chrysler or Dodge between 2005-2012 model.
There was another complaint in Middleburg Heights on Friday at 3 p.m. The suspect is described as a white man with dark brown hair, beard and wearing a beige jacket. This occurred on Pearl Road and the vehicle went west on Webster Road.
Brunswick Police are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred Friday morning. It happened at 6:45 a.m. at S. Carpenter and Laurel Roads.
A white man in his 40s stopped and asked a Brunswick High School student if she needed a ride. The student avoided the man and was picked up by her school bus.
The man was driving an older model dark green pickup truck.
Police are urging parents to keep a watch for these vehicles and to report any suspicious activity.
