GLASTONBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Glastonbury were called to a home on Knollwood Drive Sunday afternoon after a woman called police reporting she was being threatened.

Police responded to the scene but could not locate anyone inside the residence.

As a precaution, the officers backed out of the residence, secured the perimeter and contacted the Capital Region Emergency Services Team (CREST).

Upon further investigation, police determined that the female caller had fallen down a set of stairs in her residence and struck her head, causing a wound.

The victim became confused when calling 911.

The victim was transported to Hartford Hospital.
