Officials said Martinez had been kept alive with breathing equipment, and was in critical condition. Police confirmed he died Saturday morning.
Both men were charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace, first-degree conspiracy to assault, first-degree conspiracy to reckless endangerment, second-degree conspiracy to threatening and second-degree conspiracy to breach of peace.
There is no word on if the men involved will face additional charges.
