The Meriden Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 13-year-old girl who was last seen Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, Courtney Holloman was last seen at the St. Stanislaus Catholic School on Akron Street around 1 p.m. Police said school officials noticed that Courtney had left the building without her coat or any other items.
Courtney was wearing a yellow polo shirt, gray and plaid school uniform skirt and brown boots with three buckles.
Police said they believe Courtney intentionally ran away and has done that before.
However, it is unclear where Courtney would go because police said she does not have many close friends in the area.
Police said Courtney has no medical concerns and does not take any medications regularly.
Because of the cold weather, police are hoping that Courtney can be located. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call police at 203-630-6215.
