Man faces charges after police standoff

WATERFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Waterford police have charged the man involved with a police standoff this weekend.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon in a mobile home on Ferry Road.

Police said 49-year-old Jonathan Bill not only wanted to hurt himself, but threatened to shoot officers as well.

He was brought to a local hospital before being charged.

Bill is being held on $100,000 bond and is due in court Tuesday.
