MCSO: Car hit 8-year-old on bike, took off

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Authorities are looking for the driver who hit an 8-year-old boy on a bike Friday afternoon and then took off.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened near Broadway and Hawes in Mesa.

The boy is expected to be OK.

No other details were immediately available.
