LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police have arrested a professional photographer for child pornography.

Police received information on Nov. 24, 2012 that William Thompson, 52, was taking photos and videos of a child in sexually explicit situations. The child had been modeling for Thompson for several months.

Thompson operated Storybook Studios on West Craig Road near Tenaya Way. Thompson is facing seven counts of use of a minor in production of pornography.

Detectives are asking parents who fear their child may have been a victim of Thomson to call the Sexual Assault Section at 702-828-3421. You may also call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 if you wish to remain anonymous.

Thompson is currently on house arrest.
