Daisy Ingraham School closed Thursday

WESTBROOK, CT (WFSB) -

The Daisy Ingraham Elementary School in Westbrook will be closed Thursday.

Officials said both the middle and high school in Westbrook will be open as scheduled.

According to a release on the school department website, the main electrical breaker in the school malfunctioned after a transformer blew in the area.

Though the school has a generator to operate some lighting and the heat, officials said it would not be sufficient enough for the school day.
