KILLINGLY, CT (WFSB) -
A Brooklyn man was arrested after police said he got naked in front of parishioners at a church in Killingly Wednesday afternoon.
Troopers were called to St. James Catholic Church on Franklin Street around 1:45 p.m. after Gary Pohronezny, 51, disrobed and "created a disturbance" in the building.
Police said Pohronezny did not comply with verbal commands by troopers and was arrested. He was then taken to Day Kimball Hospital to be evaluated.
Pohronezny was charged with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to minors, and interfering with police. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Danielson Superior Court on Jan. 10.
