MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -

Police in the greater Hartford area are on the lookout for a man they believe may be responsible for a half dozen armed robberies in the past five days.

Manchester police said a man wearing a two-piece jumpsuit and black ski mask entered the Citgo on West Middle Turnpike at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money from the clerk working inside.

The employee said the man was holding something that was believed to be a handgun.

No one was injured in the robbery.

In East Windsor, police are investigating an armed robbery at a package store in the Broad Brook section of town Wednesday night.

A man was wearing a "ski mask" and implied to have a weapon when he robbed Paul's Package Store, according to police.

Officers told Eyewitness News also the suspect robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in East Windsor early Sunday. There is now a sign on the door saying no one will be served if they enter with something covering any part of their face.

Police said there have been similar robberies in the Vernon and East Hartford areas recently, and officers are looking into the possibility that they have been done by the same person.

According to police, the man threatens but never displays a weapon.

"We really would like to get this man soon, because you never know how these things can escalate," said Manchester police Capt. Chris Davis.

The suspect is believed to be using a an older black beatup Honda Accord with Connecticut license plates and untinted windows, police said.
