NEW LONDON, CT (WFSB) -
New London police are investigating an armed robbery.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Sunshine convenience store on Broad Street.
Police said a white man walked into the store, showed the clerk a knife, and then demanded money.
According to investigators, the man was able to get away with an unknown amount of money. He was seen running toward Hempstead Street.
Police said no one was hurt in the robbery.
The suspect is described by police as a white male in his 20s, with a slim build. He weighs about 130 lbs. and stands about 5'5'' tall.
Anyone with information is being asked to call New London police.
