PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A weak weather system brought some showers north of Phoenix on Thursday.

Our news helicopter was overhead Lake Pleasant as rain clouds were building Thursday afternoon.

In Anthem, many residents were able to see a double rainbow after the light showers.

Meteorologist Jason Kadah said you can expect cooler temperatures the next couple of mornings with lows in the 30s.

Snow hit in northern Arizona, including in Flagstaff and Show Low.

After a dry and slightly warmer weekend, some uncertainty exists for early next week. Forecast models are hinting at another weather system by New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, according to Kadah.
