KINGMAN, AZ (CBS5) -

The theft of metal storm drains in northwestern Mohave County has sparked a plea from the sheriff's office.

Anyone with information about their removal is asked to call the Mohave County Sheriff's Office at 928-753-0753 or Silent Witness at 888-227-8780.

Thirty storm drains were initially reported stolen Nov. 21, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter. Now, a total of 75 storm drains have been stolen in the Shadow Mountain subdivision, east of Mesquite and south of Beaver Dam, Carter said.

The storm drains are 18 inches in width and 36 inches in length.

A reward up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons behind the thefts.
