PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

Peoria police said they have found an 81-year-old woman missing since Sunday night.

Wanda Montie, of Peoria, did not return home after she said she was going to a grocery store Sunday evening, according to Amanda Jacinto officer of the Peoria Police Department.

She was found unharmed about 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Sun Lakes area by members of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, according to a Peoria Police Department spokesman.

She was reunited with her family and is safely home, the spokesman said.

She was last seen walking out of her home near 19000 N. 91st Lane about 5:30 p.m. A family member called police about midnight when Montie did not return home.
