Collision closes SR 238 near Gila Bend

© (Source: CBS 5 News) A collision involving a car and a tractor-trailer closed State Route 238 in southern Arizona Thursday morning.

GILA BEND, AZ (CBS5) -

A collision involving a car and a tractor-trailer has blocked State Route 238 in southern Arizona.

The roadway was closed in both directions near milepost 34 between Gila Bend and Maricopa about 5 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Three medical helicopters were dispatched to the scene, but no fatalities were reported by DPS.

No other information was immediately available.
