Sheriff Arpaio gets surprise visit in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS5) -

Sheriff Joe Arpaio got quite a surprise during his visit to San Francisco Thursday night.

He was having dinner out when some surprise guests joined him at the restaurant. The so-called Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence street performers, dressed in flamboyant outfits, came in and had a seat at the next table.

The sisters use their costumes to draw attention to human rights and respect for diversity.
