SOMERS, CT (WFSB) -
State police are searching for the woman who is accused of robbing a Somers business at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.
Police said they were called to the Dzen Garden Market on Main Street around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
According to police, a woman entered the store, placed her purse on the counter and pulled out a handgun.
The woman left with an undetermined amount of cash in a small gray-colored vehicle. Police attempted to track her using a K-9 but were not successful.
She is described as a white female, 50 to 60 years old with dark-colored, shoulder-length hair, about 4'11" tall and 130 pounds. She was wearing a gray wool coat, dark pants and black wool gloves and carrying a black leather purse with shiny silver rivets and clasps.
