HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Phone service has been disrupted and power is out to a portion of a school in Hartford Thursday afternoon.
Power is out in the main office, gym and one classroom at the Burr School on Wethersfield Avenue.
The power outage started around 10:30 a.m. after an issue with an underground piece of equipment, Connecticut Light and Power officials said. The issue is expected to be fixed sometime Thursday evening.
The CL&P website is reporting 20 customers are without power in Hartford.
The outage caused after-school activities at the Burr School to be canceled for Thursday.
The Burr School serves kindergarten through eighth grade.
