Fatal crash blocks southbound I-17 lane at Bell

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A fatal collision has blocked one lane of southbound Interstate 17 at Bell Road.

An Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman said the southbound Union Hills on-ramp was also closed after the crash about 6 a.m. Tuesday. The deceased driver reportedly crashed into a pole.

No other information was immediately available.
