Names of those involved in Route 94 crash in Glastonbury released

GLASTONBURY, CT (WFSB) -

The Glastonbury Police Department released the names of people involved in a three-car crash on Route 94 in Glastonbury Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to Hebron Avenue near the intersection of Hawthorne Mead Drive just after 10 a.m. for a "head-on" collision.

According to police, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hebron Avenue crossed the center line and collided with two cars traveling in the other direction.

According to police, Marcia Hasemann, 74, of Manchester was killed in the crash.

Linda Cole of Glastonbury was also injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time, but she is believed to have injuries that are not life-threatening. 

Frederick Johnson of Glastonbury was also involved in the crash, but was not seriously injured. 

Route 94, also known as Hebron Avenue, was closed between Strickland and Pond Circle for a couple of hours while emergency officials were conducting their investigation.

Emergency officials are investigating the crash and are trying to determine if weather played a factor in the crash.
