The Trumbull Police Department is investigating a bank robbery Friday morning.
According to police, a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank on Hawley Lane just before noon and demanded money from a teller.
The suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a motor vehicle, which police believe is as a black Buick LS.
Police said no one was injured and no weapon was ever shown.
The suspect is being described as a black man who is between 5'8" and 5'10" and weighs about 190 pounds. He was seen wearing "a knit hat with wide white and purple horizontal stripes on it, and dark clothing" during the robbery, according to police.
The robbery is still under investigation by the Trumbull Police Department and anyone with any information is asked to call 203-261-3665.
