No one injured credit union robbery in Berlin

BERLIN, CT (WFSB) -

The Berlin Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a credit union in the Kensington section of town Monday afternoon.

Police said a unidentified man entered the UBI Credit Union located on Chamberlain Highway just before 3 p.m. He demanded money from a teller and "implied he had a weapon," police said.

The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police.

Officers with the help of a K-9 searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect.

No one was injured during the robbery.
