BRANFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Police in Branford are investigating a robbery at a gas station in Branford.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Saturday night at the Gulf station located at 380 East Main Street.
Police said a white male entered the store, implied that he had a gun, and demanded cash from an employee.
According to officials, the suspect was able to get away with about $500.
The suspect was seen walking through the parking lot towards route 139.
He's described by police as a stocky white male, in his 30s or 40s, wearing a red, hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Branford police.
