SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -
A Scottsdale man shot his wife to death while she slept before turning the gun on himself Wednesday morning, according to a Scottsdale Police Department report on Friday.
A police spokesman said Daniel Peralta, 58, and his wife, Laura Peralta, 52, had argued Tuesday evening before the murder-suicide.
There had been no previous reports of domestic violence in the household, the spokesman said.
The Peraltas' adult son was living at the house and said he was awakened by two gunshots before finding the bodies of his parents in their home near Sweetwater Avenue and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, according to Sgt. Mark Clark of the Scottsdale Police Department.
The shooting was reported around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
