A suspect the FBI is calling the "Groucho Bandit" is accused of robbing two banks in Arizona, police said.

The man held up the Bank of America at 1980 West Wickenburg Way in Wickenburg Tuesday afternoon. Officers said he handed a note to the teller demanding money. The note made reference to a firearm, police said.

The bandit was described as between 40 to 50 years old. He was wearing a black hat, a fake mustache and heavy rimmed black glasses. The suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and light blue denim shorts with black shoes. He is  5'7" tall and weighs between 170 and 200 pounds.

The Wickenburg Police Department is working with the FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force to solve the case.

The same suspect is believed to be behind a July 20 National Bank of Arizona robbery in Gila Bend.

Authorities need the public's help in identifying the man. Tips can be submitted to the FBI at 623-466-1999 or Wickenburg police at 928-684-5411.
