Valley urgent care centers to X-ray Halloween candy

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

NextCare Urgent Care centers across the Valley will X-ray Halloween candy for free Wednesday and Thursday.

The hope is to give parents peace of mind that the candy their trick-or-treaters scored is safe to eat.

Every location will offer X-rays, but the following locations are open through midnight on Halloween:

Central Phoenix: 1701 E. Thomas (near 16th Street and Thomas)
East Valley: 600 S. Dobson, Chandler (near Dobson and Chandler Boulevard)
West Valley: 9494 W. Northern Ave., Glendale (near Northern and the 101 Loop)
