PHOENIX (CBS5) -

One person was seriously injured in a fiery two-car collision Monday night in far west Phoenix.

One of the two cars erupted in flames when it flipped after the 11:45 p.m. crash at 107th Avenue and Camelback Road, according to a Phoenix Police Department spokesman.

The driver of the vehicle that caught fire was taken to an area hospital in extremely critical condition with severe burns.

A person in the second car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
