Auction Item: A Toast to You, a watercolor collage - CBS 5 - KPHO

Arizona artist Edna Harris' goal is to combine various media in order to create a world of potential, interpretation and most of all, fun.

Edna combines watercolor with found objects and embellishments. There is a recurring object in her work: candy wrappers (www.candywrappercreations.com). Each painting has a theme and hopefully each viewer will have a little different interpretation of the meaning. A "key" may represent the meaning of the piece and the candy wrappers add a touch of whimsy everyone can enjoy. Beginning with an original watercolor piece, she may dismantle it and rearrange the pieces into a new design. From there words or phrases, embellishments and candy wrappers will be added until the final effect is reached.

How Raffle Works

Raffle tickets can be purchased on-site of Paul's Car Wash for $1 each (only cash will be accepted). Persons purchasing tickets may deposit their tickets in any raffle item box – for example:  if you purchase 5 raffle tickets, you may choose to place all five tickets in one box or you may split them in any combination you wish. 

The raffle will run from Monday, Oct. 22 at 4:30 a.m. through Friday, Oct. 26 at 12:30 p.m. Persons buying raffle tickets must include their full name (first & last) with a daytime phone number. CBS 5 will choose a winner for each raffle item at the conclusion of the car wash.
