Meineke Car Care Center in Mesa goes up in flames

Forty firefighters battled the blaze

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Fire destroyed a Mesa car repair shop Monday night.

The blaze gutted a Meineke Car Care Center near Broadway and Dobson, fire crews said.

Firefighters got the call at about 7 p.m. The fire had spread so fast, a total of four departments and 40 firefighters worked together to keep the flames at bay.

At one point, the roof collapsed. None of the firefighters was hurt.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
