Zachary Foehr, 23, of Flagstaff
FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -
Police in Flagstaff have arrested a man accused in a bank robbery inside a grocery store.
Flagstaff police spokesman Sgt. James Jackson said the suspect, later identified as Zachary Foehr, 23, of Flagstaff, gave a note demanding money to a bank teller at the Wells Fargo Bank inside Fry's store on N. Switzer Canyon Drive on Thursday afternoon.
The note indicated he had a weapon and after taking the money he fled.
Jackson said surveillance video caught images of Foehr and a detective recognized him from a case a few weeks back.
Foehr was found hiding in a friend's home and was arrested on one count of armed robbery.
Detectives said Foehr was reportedly seen in a different bank before robbing Wells Fargo. They said Foehr was acting suspicious before employees contacted him and he left.
