GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, AZ (CBS5) -

Rangers in Grand Canyon National Park are searching for a man that was last seen waiting to get on a commercial tour bus.

The man had been traveling with a companion and failed to get on the bus near Bright Angel Lodge in Grand Canyon National Park Saturday afternoon, park spokesperson Shannan Marcak said. His companion reported him missing.

The missing man is identified as Yoshikazu Yamada, 76, a Japanese national. Yamada is 5'6" tall, weighs 150 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a gray, short-sleeved button-down shirt, a light-brown photography vest, black pants, black tennis shoes and a brown sun hat.

Park investigators are asking anyone that may have seen Yamada or who might have information about his whereabouts to call the park's Silent Witness line at 928-638-7766.
