Free event in Phoenix for distressed homeowners

GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Help is on its way for Valley homeowners facing foreclosure.

Citi Bank is holding free one-on-one consultations with Citi's mortgage assistance experts at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel at 9495 W. Coyotes Blvd. in Glendale from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Citi Bank said two-thirds of participants during last year's tour found that they qualified for a mortgage modification or another type of solution.

Since 2011, Citi has helped more than 4,000 families through its Road to Recovery tour.
