SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -
Tens of thousands of the Mormon faithful are gathering in Salt Lake City for the 182nd semi-annual general conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The general conference in Salt Lake City allows Mormons to hear gospel-centered talks about faith, family and mission work from senior church leaders.
The first general session on Saturday is scheduled for 10 a.m. mountain daylight time, following by a second session at 2 p.m. The priesthood session will be held at 6 p.m. Two more general sessions will be held on Sunday.
