More than 70 steroid pills and syringes were found inside the vehicle of a man Gilbert police pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving.
Garland Gray, 23, was booked into jail on charges of drunken driving, possession of a dangerous drug and unlawful flight from law enforcement, among others.
Gray attempted to evade an officer who tried to pull him over Thursday morning for a non-functioning light near the intersection of Higley and Warner roads.
The man eventually stopped in someone's driveway, jumped a wall and then fled on foot, Gilbert police Sgt. Jesse Sanger said.
A short time later, officers found him near Swallow and Megan roads.
Sanger said it's not known if Gray was using the steroids or was a dealer.
