PARADISE VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -
Paradise Valley police are looking for a 64-year-old man who went missing from an elderly-adult care facility early Sunday morning.
Gregory Parkison is believed to have walked away from the facility near Scottsdale and Doulbetree Ranch roads between midnight and 2 a.m. Sunday without the knowledge of his health-care providers.
Parkison did not have a wallet, identification, cash, credit cards or cell phone, according to the Paradise Valley Police Department.
Police said they did not know where he might have been headed and that his family has not heard from him.
Parkison has early onset Alzheimer's disease and Type 2 diabetes. He did not have his necessary medications when he left, police said, warning that Parkison might exhibit violent tendencies if approached.
Parkison is described as white, 6' tall, 175 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair and mustache.
Anyone with information about Parkison's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Frank Hoekstra of the Paradise Valley Police Department at 480-948-7418.
