Police believe rivals vandalized Valley high school

© Parents of Westwood High students volunteered to paint over the graffiti on Friday.

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

A Mesa high school is cleaning up the mess after they were vandalized overnight.

It's homecoming at Westwood High School on Eighth Street and authorities believe the suspects may be from a rival school.

Mesa police said Mesa High School is the opponent Friday night and it's believed they did it.

Parents of Westwood High School students volunteered to paint over the graffiti on Friday.
