A Phoenix man accused of trying to meet teenage girls online and have sex with them has been sentenced to two years of supervised probation.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 31-year-old Jason Dubin was sentenced Friday.

He pleaded guilty last month to two counts of computer tampering with sexual motivation.

Authorities say Dubin believed he'd met a 17-year-old girl while in an online chat room and wanted to meet her in person to engage in "sex acts."

They say Dubin allegedly asked the 17-year-old to bring a friend and then agreed to meet when the teen said she was bringing a 14-year-old girl.

However, the online teens were police officers. When Dubin arrived at the meeting place in July 2011, he was arrested on suspicion of aggravated luring of a minor.
